Home to the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center, the Kansas State Fair and the NJCAA Men's Basketball National Championship Tournament, Hutchinson in the heart of Kansas, stays lively all year round! Affectionately known as "Salt City" due to the vast underground salt mines, Hutchinson was built along the banks of the Arkansas River just 40 miles northwest of Wichita.
In 1996, Bank of Kansas opened its doors in Hutch and began serving Reno County residents. With a combined experience of over 100 years, the Bank of Kansas officers not only know the community which they live in, but have the experience and wisdom to guide the residents of Hutch boldly, confidently and accurately.
